Itinerary
Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, guests will be met and welcome to Botswana. They will be assisted with their luggage and connection to their helicopter transfer to the Okavango Delta for their 4 nights Kweene trail mobile safari.
The mobile safari trail begins southern section of the Kweene River surrounded by seasonal swamps and plains moving further up north of the Kweene River system exploring yet another unique area Magwegwe region enclosed with all-year-round water surfaces and ever-flowing floodplains making it possible to do water activities. Moving between these two areas may be through a combination of foot, mokoro, and game drives with a bush picnic lunch en route. The region has an amazing diversity of experiences to offer, guests can embark on guided game drives to see the region’s abundant wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, or hippos. Seasonal mokoro activity along the Kweene water channels and guided walking safaris for an intimate encounter with the wilderness.
