Victoria Falls National Park

Perfectly located within the Victoria Falls National Park, The Elephant Camp overlooks the Zambezi Gorge and is divided into 2 camps: Main Camp and West Camp. They both offer the same quality and luxury experience but have a different number of rooms. The Elephant Camp Main comprises 12 rooms comprising 10 standard luxury tented suites and 2 tented family suites. The Elephant Camp West has 4 suites accommodating a total number of 16 guests, thus making it suitable for a group or family travelling together and looking for an exclusive experience. The en suite rooms at both camps are gorge facing, and each has a private viewing deck with a plunge pool, private lounge area and bath with a view.

There is a waterhole in front of the lodge with frequent elephant visitors appearing for a drink. The Elephant Camp's main area contains a very spacious lounge and dining area where guests can choose to have their meals. Alternatively, they can enjoy eating on the main deck outside under the stars. Additionally, there is an outdoor pizza oven, and guests can make pizza, adding a bit of fun and making the safari experience to Africa even more memorable.

Activities

The Elephant Camp is an inclusive lodge and offers a range of activities, including a guided tour of the falls; a Victoria Falls Canopy Tour consisting of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the Batoka Gorge; a sunset Cruise on the Zambezi Royal; and morning or afternoon game drives. Guests can wrap up the day with cocktails and canapes or a bush picnic at the Batoka Gorge. Additionally, guests will have a chance to visit the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, do a village tour, and participate in the Elephant Conservation Experience, where guests can enjoy an encounter with the elephants. The birding and nature walk at The Elephant Camp offers visitors a chance to see over 420 bird species on the concession, along with zebra, impala, sable, wildebeest, kudu and warthogs who have made the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary their home.
