Tembo Plains camp is well built into the thick riverine forest located on the Zambezi River’s edge, in the Sapi private reserve east of Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. The park is characterized by rich vegetation and offers an unforgettable experience and incredible game sightings, including wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas, as well as buffalos, kudus, zebras and different bird species.
Accommodation at Tembo plains is in 4 large canvas suites with outdoor sitting area and 1 large 2-bedroomed family suite with common outdoor sitting area. Each room features its own en-suite bathroom facilities, private plunge pool and wrap around decking area offering uninterrupted views of the Zambezi river. Activities
Tembo Plains camp is located within a private 128,000 ha Sapi Private Reserve eastern side of Mana Pools National Park. The camp offers incredible opportunity to connect with nature and wildlife, guests can enjoy catch and release fishing, canoeing and boating on the Zambezi River, bird watching and game drives within the Zambezi National Park as well as nature walks providing a chance to encounter animals such as painted wild dogs, lions, leopards and elephants.
