Lower zambezi southern section
Mana Pools National Park is located in the lower Zambezi's southern section and northeast of Lake Kariba and Victoria Falls. Mana Pools National Park is arguably the most beautiful game reserve in Africa, renowned for its walking safaris. As well as offering exceptional nature walk safaris and spectacular game sightings, it is also known for providing the best canoeing safari experience in Southern Africa from the Kariba Dam through to Kariba Gorge to the border of Mana Pools along the national park border. Characterized by rich vegetation, Mana Pools offers an unforgettable experience and incredible game sightings, including wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas, as well as buffalos, kudus, zebras and different bird species. The best time to visit Mana Pools National Park is during the dry season from July through to October, when large populations of game are highly concentrated near the rivers and valleys, grazing and drinking. Mana Pools is accessible by boat from Lake Kariba or by air and road into the camps and lodges within the park.
Tembo Plains
Tembo Plains camp is well built into the thick riverine forest located on the Zambezi River’s edge, in the Sapi private reserve east of Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. Accommodation at Tembo plains is in 4 large canvas suites with outdoor sitting area and 1 large 2-bedroomed family suite with common outdoor sitting area. Each room features its own en-suite bathroom facilities, private plunge pool and wrap around decking area offering uninterrupted views of the Zambezi river. Tented safari main area Includes lounge, dining, library and wine cellar and firepit with seating.
Mana River Camp
Mana River Camp is situated along the Zambezi river within the Mana Pools National Park. Accommodation is in 6 tented rooms and each tent has an en suite bathroom with a shower and a canvas veranda on which to relax and listen to the gentle echoing of the river on your doorstep. The tents are surrounded by tall mahogany trees and iconic acacia trees that surround the Zambezi and attract an abundance of wildlife to the area.
Nyamatusi camp
Nyamatusi camp is found in the Mana Pools National Park, perfectly situated along the Zambezi river. Nyamatusi Camp offers accommodation in 6 luxury safari suites, each equipped with an indoor and outdoor shower, a viewing deck with outdoor seating and a private plunge pool. The suites are decorated with soft drapery, ensuring a quiet and elegant ambience and all boast uninterrupted views of the majestic Zambezi River.
