Zambezi Region
Northeastern Namibia
The Zambezi Region (formerly known as the Caprivi) is in northeastern Namibia and is characterised by rich vegetation, wetlands and woodlands. Angola and Zambia lie to its north, while Botswana is to the south and east. The Zambezi Region is 14 785 km² and benefits from several perennial rivers making it a great wetland area. The Zambezi region consists of a large population of wildlife, including hippos, buffalos, elephants, kudus and over 400 varieties of birds, showcasing the Zamezi region's ability to offer a fantastic wilderness experience. Many activities offered in the region are predominantly water-based such as river cruises and fishing.
Chobe Savanna Lodge
