Set in an arena of ebony and sausage trees on the southern tip of Chief's Island, Stanley's Camp accommodates only twenty guests. Stanley's offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango Delta, including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and the elusive wild dog.

Stanley's Camp is a small luxury camp with 10 traditional safari tents on raised wooden decking which exude 'classic Africa' with handcrafted beds, the finest linen, antique furniture and oriental carpets. Each tent has en suite facilities, a private balcony furnished with hammocks and Morris chairs that are perfect for relaxing during the heat of the African day.

Stanley's Camp's main lodge is on raised decking and offers spectacular views over the surrounding floodplains. Stanley's is cleverly blended into the existing tree line, and its central support is a large sausage tree. The main area is made up of two separate spaces; the lounge and bar on one side and the dining room and plunge pool on the other. Guests can relax in the lounge and bar during the day before moving down to the open area in front, where the campsite is lit every evening, while the sumptuous meals are served in the dining area.
