Recently reopened by Ker & Downey Botswana, Dinaka in the northern Kalahari is eliciting rave reviews. Situated in a private reserve on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve guests explore the region’s rich bio-diversity with regular sightings of Kalahari lion, springbok, Oryx and brown hyena.
Guests are accommodated in eight spacious tents, seven standard and one family, that along with the public areas and swimming pool overlook a productive waterhole.
Activities include guided walks and both day and night game drives. Several hides and bunkers present spectacular photographic opportunities. A sleep out deck provides panoramic views across the desert landscape and the opportunity to spend the night under the magnificent African night sky.
Dinaka joins Ker & Downey’s four, highly regarded camps, Shinde, Kanana, Okuti and Footsteps.
