A well-established Okavango Delta camp, Shinde is an intimate, classic camp nestled on a beautiful, lush palm island in the heart of the northern Okavango Delta on the edge of the Shinde Lagoon. Shinde has year-round water, making it an excellent base for all water activities. In addition, the camp is surrounded by open plains, which means Shinde simply teems with animal and birdlife.

Shinde has 8 twin bedded classic safari tents that all include a spacious en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The tents have been thoughtfully positioned to offer breathtaking views across the Okavango's waterways and open grasslands from the extended front decks.

A unique feature of Shinde is its private-use camp called The Enclave at Shinde. The 3 separate tents are available for exclusive use and include a private boma, bar, dining area and lounge overlooking the lagoon. A personal waiter or barman is specifically assigned to this facility, and a senior guide hosts guests on private game activities.

Shinde's central area is multi-tiered, with each deck affording beautiful views over a permanent lagoon and positioned under the shade of ebony and mangosteen trees. The raised dining area serves up sumptuous meals while guests can relax in one of the lower lounges or enjoy a pre-dinner drink around the fire.
