Northern Namibia
Etosha National Park is considered one of Africa's greatest parks in both size and variety of wildlife species. The parks cover an area of 22 200 km² in northern Namibia. The park vegetation is characterised by mophane savannahs and dry woodland surrounding the Etosha pans. Etosha is famous for its large elephant population, best seen from July to September. There are also large populations of zebras, blue wildebeest and springbok. The migration of these animals occurs from October to November, which can be spectacular to witness. Birding is also excellent in the area, with over 340 species recorded. The park is accessible by road going into lodges and campsites in the area.
Etosha Safari Lodge
Etosha Safari Lodge is situated in the southern section of the national park and offers 65 chalets that provide a peaceful base from which to explore the park and see the abundance of wild animals of Etosha National Park. Etosha Safari Lodge offers early morning or late afternoon game drives into the national park.
Etosha King Nehale
Etosha King Nehale lodge is situated on the Andoni Plains, roughly a kilometre from Etosha National Park's King Nehale Gate. It offers 40 spacious and stylish rooms with tasteful accents that celebrate the region's rich cultural heritage, each with its own veranda and private mini pool.
