Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge is situated in the stunning and unique area of the Gonarezhou National Park, where the Mwenezi, Runde, and Save rivers pass by and where guests often see lions and hyenas, wild dogs and giraffes.

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge offers 10 en suite king and twin thatched rooms. The interior room design is stunning and includes locally crafted reed-weaved items. Each room has a private balcony offering amazing views of the ever-flowing Save River, where hippos can be regularly seen from the comfort of the room.

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge's main comprises a bar, dining area, and lounge area with couches and coffee tables overlooking the river. The swimming pool and fire pit area out front are perfect for evening gatherings, either before or after dinner.

In addition to Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge, a Gonarezhou itinerary can be crafted for guests to include 2 nights at Chilo Gorge Tented Camp. This seasonal camp is open from May to October and is located at Mahove on the riverbanks of the Runde River within the Gonarezhou National Park. This camp offers guests exclusivity with only 4 tented rooms, each with a shower and flushing toilet. Meals at Chilo Gorge Tented Camp are taken under the shade of trees or tented boma weather dependent.

Alternatively, Ivory Trail Adventure offers guests a private rustic mobile camping experience. Tents are comfortably equipped with stretcher beds, mattress and bedding, a bucket shower and a bush toilet with a canvas frame. Ivory Trail Adventure experiences run with a dedicated chef and camp hand and can be tailor-made to include various activities, including a visit to Chivilia Falls. Guests take their meals under the shade of a gazebo or the stars.

Finally, Nhabo is a self-catering facility which offers 4 lodges, each sleeping 2 people, with shared kitchen and dining areas, that different groups can book. The family lodge is additional to the 4 lodges and sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. This larger lodge includes 2 bathrooms and has its own separate kitchen and dining area. It is suitable for families or friends travelling together looking for a secluded experience and wanting to do everything for themselves. Guests staying at the Nhabo self-catering lodges are also welcome to take their meals at Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge on request.
